Goldylost Hair started the way a lot of good things start — with a problem the founder had to solve for herself. Clementine spent ten years looking for a wig she could actually live in. When she couldn't find one, she decided to make it.

Goldylost exists so no one else has to spend a decade searching the way I did.
Our small Australian team — including a senior stylist with more than thirty years in alternative hair — finishes every wig and topper by hand before it ships. Lightly bleached knots. Soft face-framing layers. Lower density at the hairline. The details that turn a good wig into one nobody can tell is a wig.

Our job is to take the worry — about fit, about realism, about whether anyone can tell — completely off the table, so you can get on with the rest of your day looking and feeling like yourself.

Most wig hair has had at least three owners before it reaches you. An agent. A broker. A warehouse. By the time it's made into a finished wig, no one really knows whose hair it was — and that suits the industry just fine.
It was never going to suit us.
So Clementine flies to Curitiba in Paraná — a city in Southern Brazil — and meets the people who provide our hair in person. She sees how it's cared for. She knows their names. She knows their faces. So do we.
When we say we know where our hair comes from, we mean it literally.
It's slower than the alternative. It's not anonymous. And it's why every Goldylost wig and topper carries the kind of hair we're proud to put on someone's head.
