A soft black, one shade up from true jet black. It reads as a deep brown-black rather than a flat, solid black, keeping dimension and shine in the light. Cool to neutral in tone, with no warmth. This is virgin, unprocessed hair, in soft black is the most common natural shade for people with naturally black hair.
